We saw them in Italy in September near Verona, and on the 28th September they were in a promo-day in Milan. So we had a chat with Justin and Freddie from the Vaccines after the cancelled interview from Frequency Festival 2011 due Justin vocal chords illness… So only more than a year to catch them! ;)
The Vaccines are an English indie rock band who formed in West London in 2010. The band’s debut album, What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?, was released through Columbia Records on 14 March 2011 and reached number 4 in the UK Album Chart. They drew comparisons to Ramones, The Strokes and The Jesus And Mary Chain. The band, however, has spoken of influences ranging from “‘50s rock ‘n’ roll to 80s American hardcore and good pop music”. They have opened for The Walkmen, The Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Arcade Fire. Their second studio album Come of Age was released in the UK on 3 September 2012.

She’s on her second european tour, just now. Here’s our via skype interview with Terra Naomi.
Terra Naomi is an alternative, rock, and pop artist, who rose to fame through a performance of her song “Say It’s Possible” on the video sharing site YouTube. Originally from New York State, but currently based in Los Angeles, she writes and performs her own songs, and plays the guitar and piano.
During our radio show, even an acoustic performance for us.

Hailing from Johannesburg in South Africa, The Parlotones are the best band you’re not listening to. The quartet have released five studio albums, and a smattering of live records and DVDs. Although yet to really make an impression in the Europe, we have to tell you that they were one of our favourite at Heineken Jammin’ Festival and not only . Stadium rock choruses and anthemic ballads were also played a lot at Radiosglaps: Push me to the floor is one of our fav so far.
Sorry for the perturbate (!?) audio but this was a real interview on the road: I was on their van in Milan between to venue in where they played two acoustic promo session. So: we have traffic… and so on.

I met the man behind Xiu Xiu, Jamie Stewart, before his show in Milan.
[If you pay attention you can hear traffic jam noises and birdies]
Even if someone describes Jamie as a dark person in this interview there are a lot of laughs (of course: we are talking about his record, his tour, Italy, US election and something more)
